It is windy and cloudy this Sunday morning here in middle Tennessee. Last Sunday morning we awoke to an inch of snow, then we had a couple of mornings down to 18 and 15 degrees on the hill. It warmed up and yesterday it got to 72 degrees. So we are having roller coaster weather here in this part of the world. Today it is suppose to get into the high sixties and then by Friday back into the forties. No wonder folks are getting sick.
In February, at the Art Ventures luncheon, Lu Lu was telling the ladies how she cannot cook but she has this fail proof fudge recipe. Fail proof got our attention and she sent me the recipe to share so here goes.
Velveeta Fudge
1/2 pound Velveeta cheese
1/2 pound butter
1 1/2 pound powdered sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup non fat powdered milk
1/2 Tsp. vanilla
chopped nuts (optional)
Melt Velveeta and butter in a double boiler (microwave does not work well) When melted, mix well with remaining ingredients using a hand mixer( she uses bread dough attachments)
Pour into pan and chill. ( makes about 3 pounds of fudge)
The kitty justice is to spread the world with chocolate.

Working in tobacco was hard. I started when I was about 10 and worked in it every summer until my first child was born...
Our weather has been cold and hot somewhat like your weather. It was 74 here on Saturday and a little cooler today but we also have a Tornado Watch until 8:00 PM today.
Our weather has been late 20s C and early 3os C which is just great high 70sF and low 80s F. WE still haven;t had any rain. Some fell where the fires were, so that was good. Take great care, my friend,We all feed the wrong wolf sometimes.
Love, Merle.
That is funny that you do not claim any of the animals. I wish I had at least two of his goats and several of his chickens. I look at the Murray Hatchery catalog and dream of the days I can raise a few chickens.
I did not work in the tobacco as long as you did but it was hard enough to convince me to study hard in school so I would not have to work like that again. Peace

I visit at least 3 of your blogs to read but do not often leave comments. Yep your weather is like ours.
Today we are suppose to reach 80 or above and then plummet into the 40 tonight and then stay there for awhile. Peace
Merle
Glad you like the recipe. Lu Lu said it was fail proof and was wonderful to munch. Peace
The fudge recipe sounds delicious. I've never had fudge made with velveta cheese, but when we were kids, Mom always had velveta on hand.
I know what you mean about the weather roller coaster. Last Friday was beautiful. We set records. Saturday was colder and so was Sunday. Yesterday was nice, probably around 45 or 50 degrees F. Today is cold and wet. Tonight it's to go to minus 13 C and that will cause a skating rink. I don't like hubby going out on the roads when it's icy, but he has to. I hope the weatherman is wrong.
Take care and have a great week.
Blessings,
Mary
Glad the baby goats are doing well. It was 75 degrees on the 18th and will be in the fifty today.
I am suffering with Tn pollen.

My body is having a hard time dealing with the weather roller coaster.
