Kitty in her hat at the last Art Ventures meeting. I could wear this today but not the shoes I had on. Rubber boots would be the ticket today. Which would only make the hat look silly. I have never been to the Steeplechase but my hats would fit right in. Of course, I would photo all the handsome horses but as for the race, I prefer something with a BIG ENGINE. However, I would have the most fun doing one of my favorite pastimes when I am among a crowd. "PEOPLE WATCH." I really think most of the folks are interested in the partying and hat and outfit show. All those ladies who have planned their outfits will really have to rethink the head gear and foot attire. Those high heels would mire up in and hold them in place or maybe they will just carry the shoes in their hand to show.
The Kitty Justice is that it just might be a good day for the chase after all.

You hat is lovely. I miss those wide-brimmed hats. Not many people wear hats these days.

Thanks. I have always liked hats and now I choose to wear them when I go out to eat and Church. I would love to bring back the more formal attire rather than the comfortable sludge everyone wears now. Yes, I have been guilty of going out comfortable but would rather dress up.

I am quite over my fall, it was indoors and on carpet, it was the getting up that made it memorable.
I had a great afternoon and evening with 4 of my cousins. And bringing
some of the food was such a help.

I am so happy you are over the fall. I had a wonderful Mothers Day except when the dishwasher almost caught on fire. Luck it was on the recall list and will be fixed free of charge. Peace
