Some folks call it the Natchez Trace but during this time, I refer to it as a Tunnel of Purple. On every side of the Trace are blooming Red bud trees.
The Natchez Trace Bridge is about twelve miles from home and this photo was taken from Highway 96 entrance to the Trace. We just went down to the bottom and turned around.

The young man returned home and I hope he came away from here knowing that there is a different way of life. We all are products of our upbringing but he is young enough to make a change. MB
Glad to see yawl and you enjoyed the trip down and back on the Natchez Trace. Peace

The evening light was playing on the trees making the colors change from bright to dark. Glad you enjoyed our short drive. Peace

I always look forward to the blooms on the Trace and we drive it often to see what is blooming. I hope the young fellow enjoyed his visit and learned a few things. Peace

It was truly a sight to see as both sides of the trace are loaded with redbuds. I noticed a few white dogwoods trying to bloom as we rode along. I hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend too. Ours is to be sunny again. Peace
