Yesterday in late evening, Prince picked the above two bowls of cherries.
The rain has helped to make them big and juicy. You can see how big they are in comparison to the table spoon below. 
These are the trees, it has been too wet for Prince to get the tractor on the hillside so no comments about the weeds and grass, Please and Thank You. 
More to be picked. Mimi and I have already made two dozen jars of cherry preserves and I am thinking about making Cherry Cobblers and giving them away. Puppy will crank the cherry piter and we will freeze those Prince picked last evening.
The kitty justice is the weather has been good for the cherry trees.

Yes the weather has been nice to the cherry crop. The next berry to appear will be the raspberries and then blackberries. I ate one as soon as Prince brought them inside and got juice down the front of my shirt. If you plan to sit and eat them be sure to wear an old shirt.Peace

These are tart cherries so they make good preserves and are really good to cook with but make you pucker up to eat them right off the tree. Peace

I had a tree at our place in N.C. that was jut beginning to produce. Good but was pie kind.
Sure wish I could grow them here in my 8b zone.
