Before we got on the Interstate 40 heading home from the lake, we stopped at a gas station in Silver Point. Prince got out to pump gas and a Duster Plum Crazy pulled in on the other side of the pumps. Prince asked if the Valley drag strip was still going and the gentleman said it was. The Valley drag strip is where I spent my youth listening to big engine and just having fun. It is a uphill drag strip. My little brother had a car that he carried to the Valley and he was rather good.
Then in pulled the General Lee and it was hitting a mean lick. The man that drove the Duster in asked the guy "If it had the Big Block?" The driver told him that it did.
As you can tell I dug out my camera and jumped out of the truck and took a few photos.
The General Lee was shined like new money and unfortunately we left before he started it up again.

The kitty justice is how many times do you stop at a gas station and see two old cars drive into the station?

I try to do all 3 things mentioned.
BTW: Did you go to the drag races? Would have been fun. MB
You have been a busy woman. I think you got off good for the price you paid for tires. We had to buy 2 sets a few months back for each truck. The bills were not pretty. Glad you liked the instructions. Peace

I would have loved to ask him to blow the horn to see if it sounded like the real General. No we did not go to the races but we might sometime when we go back to the lake. Peace
