We have two Magnolia trees and the blooms are way up near the tops. The kitty justice is you either love the smell or you are overcome by the fragrant.
Besides the smell of Gardenias, Magnolia blooms are also one of my favorite fragrances. We used to bring one blossom into our office when I was working in Texas (for 12 yrs)each morning, put it in water, and the office would smell heavenly all day long.

I am feeling so much better now I am on 2 cans of Ensure a day. I am chewing nuts here as the dietician wants me to gain weight. Me too, but it is not easy. MB Saucer Magnolia are beautiful but often times here, a frost will come along and turn the blooms black. These bloom later and seem to like the TN climate best. Peace
