These series of photos go up the hill to the left of the photo and then back around to the front. "There is nothing like looking, if you want to find something." J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit, 1937.
This is one of my favorite series of books but it has to be my second favorite tree house.
Yes, I had to go up and see the view from the top.
You can either slide down on the very end of the structure or turn and go back down the incline.
That is Prince coming up the walkway under neath the Tree House. Good view of the slide in the photo below. The kitty justice did I or did I not go down that slide?

What an interesting structure. I never did have a tree house but I loved to climb trees. I spent a lot of my childhood up a tree. MB
Hugs,
Betsy
I will never tell. Our tree house was just a bunch of planks across some tree limbs. I would have thought I had died and gone to Heaven if I had such a one as that when young. I was in my late 30's before I gave up tree climbing and that is when I more or less gave up hunting. Peace

The tree houses are at Cheekwood and the month of July they have extended the hours on Thursdays and Fridays from 8-8. If you come down you will be only a short distance from the Hill and you and George will need to stop in. Peace
No I haven't made the chocolate cake yet - I am not into cake a lot. But must try it once anyway.
I am so glad you enjoyed the jokes on my post - it is nice to make people smile or have a laugh.
I am so sorry you are having a drought over there and so many really hot days
and having to be out and about during them.
Take good care my friend - Wishing you enough. Love and Peace, Merle.
The tree house in your pictures looks quite intriguing.
I did I did. Peace
Merle
We were poor as Church Mouses so our tree house was a few well placed planks in tree limbs. Thanks and same to you. Peace

Sorry to hear you did not have a tree house even a poor one like we did. Peace
Maria
Good to see you. I was in my thirties when I stopped climbing trees. There is nothing like seeing the world from a squirrels view. Peace
