Moon Flowers



I planted the seeds in the pot that was easily visible from Mimi's perch in the kitchen. The photos were taken in the middle of August. That night we had a full dozen Moon flowers. We have never had that many before. The max being a half dozen. Each night Mimi checks to see how many flowers we will have that night. 
The Kitty Justice is the EXPECTATION OF THE NUMBER.

I love moonflowers. They smell wonderful!We used to have moonflower parties-about four or four thirty the blooms start quivering, and then they slowly open, it was great to get a drink and stand around and watch.

I have Blue ones and now some pink ones have shown up with only 2 white ones. I love them. At first only 1 or 2 but the most I have counted was 72 flowers all at once. $ seeds planted in one pot. MB

Wow, I have only seen white ones. Wow, 72 at once. I would be over joyed. Need to send me some of the blue and pink seeds so next year, I can add a little color to the night time flowers. Peace

I've just been out hand watering some of my plants...my lemon tree, in particular, along with my little lime tree and some lettuces. It's so dry here at the moment...around 50 days or so with a drop of precipitation...we need rain badly.

I wish it would rain for a week...I love rain! And I have a pile of books here that I've bought over the past couple of weeks..about 30 in all...that need my in-depth attention!
