After 35 years
In September I made an unplanned visit to Shirley and Leonard's place of residence as I had missed his 95th birthday and it was a belated visit. Both were happy to see me as Leonard calls it "Shirley likes to show and tell".
She showed me this beautiful shawl she had knitted for her grand daughter and I told her I did not knit but had crochet years ago. That was it she said I needed to get busy and make something. She pulled out this yarn and ribbon yard and insisted I take it and MAKE SOMETHING.
I got home and after a couple of days, I pulled out the yarn and ribbon and started a Hat. I made the pattern up as I went along. (I should have googled patterns). By using the ribbons in the band, it is too small for this head but I know there has to be a head somewhere that this will fit.
As I was making the pom pom for the top, Puppy said he did not know I could do that and he was impressed. I love the ribbon and have searched the Internet but have not been able to locate this soft multicolored ribbon. Do any of you in blog land know where I can get said ribbon as Shirley said it was given to her and she has no idea where to locate this type of ribbon?
The REAL Kitty Justice is I should have made Pom Pom sooner if this was impressive.

Good job! :)
You're very gifted!
I sat by the window Friday and worked on a ruffled scarf made with yarn from Turkey. I had one too many pain pills and miscounted so now I need to take out about 18 inches and redo. That will keep me busy. Thanks and Peace

Glad you liked my merger efforts. I had forgotten how relaxing crocheting happens to be unless you mess up. LOL Peace
