Zinnias for food


How do you like my Volunteer Zinnias? I meant to plant new ones but with the mild winter we had, it was not necessary. I try to go pick a few to put on our kitchen table so Mimi can enjoy them. 
The bees and butterflies enjoy these volunteers as much as we. 
The Kitty Justice is  Mother Nature gave me a bouquet.

Love Zinnias but haven't planted them for years so no volunteers either.
I like your votives also. so colorful. Your Prince is indeed a Prince.

When we were kids we always grew zinnias.

They might be what are considered by some - "plain flowers"; but they are so very colourful; and they look like flowers that kids draw...so they are beautiful!

I am surprised there are no Zinnias on your place. Oh it has not been a very good week but the days I can amble about I am "thankful". I am also thankful to a loving family and the luxury to not have to do anything while I am mending. I am Blessed in so many ways. I want to call the doc again but put it off as he does have more patients than yours truly but alas, I am the only one I care about. LOL. Peace

Zinnia and Marigolds remind me of my beloved Pa and Mother. Both loved these and I will have some in my yard as long as I can and I am thankful they volunteered this year. Peace
