A neighborly surprise

These are Heirloom Marigolds that our neighbor grows. She cut all her flowers this week before the blast of COLD air hit. They have a wonderful fragrance so I put them in our living room and each time I go down the hall, I can not only enjoy their beauty but one of my favorite smells. I also love the smell of wet tomato vines and Geraniums. 
I was headed out the door to take Maggie for a stroll when I looked down to see this wonderful surprise.
