Thankful for Maggie
This is really the first time I have let Maggie go all the way to the roadside to get the paper. But Monday morning I could see the paper was a good distance from the road side and I could watch her retrieve the paper from the shelter of the garage. The snow flurries were coming down in earnest and the last few weeks she has been acting like a young puppy. The leg surgery was well worth the cost because she is not hurting any more.
The Kitty Justice is she got well just in time to be our News Dog.

By the way, our temp only got up to about 20 all day, now that the sun is going down, it's starting to drop again.
Keep warm.
Why is the paper on the roadside? If you're a subscriber, don't they put it in the mail box, or near the door?
(that's how it is in my neck of the woods).
I love to see photos of the snow.
We don't get any here....but it was cold!!
Love your sweet Maggie....
Hugs,
Jackie
We are colder than usual but at least we are not in Buffalo. Way to much snow. Peace

Maggie is completely healed so she is acting like a young pup again. it is nice that she goes the tenth of the mile back and forth to get the paper especially if the weather is not sunny. Peace

When she brings in the paper, she gets a Blue Dog treat. She thinks it is good pay. She is the BEST dog I ever have had. Peace

It is unlawful to put a newspaper in the mail box. You have to have a special box for the paper only. Also, the delivery persons, just drive along the road and try to throw the paper on your driveway. Often times it is only 2 or so feet off the road. Prince backs it up the driveway to our well house most of the time before he heads out to work. Peace

So good to see you. Hope you have had a good time off from the blogging world. My girlfriend in Macon makes the same comments about the weather. Maggie is a great dog. Peace
Sorry to see all the horrid snow you are getting but please keep it over there, I have seen more than enough of that stuff!
Yes I am lucky to have such a smart dog. She has been doing this job since she was three months old. I do not believe my powers are strong enough to mess with Mother Nature. She will snow wherever she wishes. Peace
