Tennessee Green
First of all Happy June to everyone out there in blogland. The Downey and Red Bellied Woodpeckers were destroying my hummingbird feeders so I replaced two of them with glass and the hanging hook is very sturdy. I looked inside each feeder at Ace Hardware to see if it could easily be cleaned and these were the winners but as of yet the birds have not accepted them. I have two plastic feeders that survived and the birds are converging of those. I have been told to take those two down and put these two in their place and they will accept them. Any of you believe this? We having a big red wasp convention on the hill so I got the bottles below to see if they could be attracted and become their Death Trap.
Above photo shows down the drive and below shows the front of the house.
Above the Box wood bushes in front of the big windows and I have lots of Lambs Ear, Lilies of different varitiy and in the open space purple heart. First time I saw purple heart as an outside plant was in Austin TX in the late eighties. I have yet to find out what the green ground cover is called but my Mother had it hanging off the rock wall behind her house and thus I call it Mother's Ground Cover. The two photos below are a close up of the Stella Lily and Mother's Ground Cover..
The Japanese Maple is the only color in the trees at this time. The winter was not kind to my Creeping Jenny ground cover by the old seeder. Prince stays busy this time of year just keeping the mowing done. The white barn is covered with vines and scrub trees that need cutting and the Massey is in the shop so Prince cannot bush hog at present. The Johnson's who own most of our old farm came and did the bush hogging around the barn just lately. Nice to have such GOOD neighbors.
With the Tennessee Green comes the pollen but therefore we take our allergy meds and go on about our way.
BTW I have given up my Go Daddy account KittyJustice.com as I was spending too much with no returns. I may start putting more art work on this site and I have even thought about an Etsey account.
As my thoughts go in many directions, I wonder how many of you get a message from Google telling you that you might be interested in these sites. I delete the E- mail and go about my business.
The Kitty Justice is I truly enjoy Tennessee Green. (Pollen, bugs and all) Prince found a Copperhead Snake skin this weekend out front when he was mowing. At least it was a skin and not the snake.

Blue? I thought red was the color the humming birds like. Can not believe all the crooked people in Politics, God Help us from these slugs. We need to see what the heck they are really doing. Been working in yard, I can only do 2 hours at 79 years. Just get too tired.
It's frustrating. Love yvonne
Our drive is one tenth of a mile so you can why Maggie goes for the morning paper. Yard work is a never ending task on the hill. With my back problems I too can only work a few hours outside. I find I have to watch out an not over do.. Yep we Americans are in for a world of hurt. Peace

Welcome to KJ. The squirrels have not bother the hummingbird feeder but we have to take them in at night to keep the raccoons from destroying them. We also take in our seed feeder too because of the raccoons and possums. I feed suet only in winter and they also have to be brought in at night once I forgot and we found the feeder in the yard. I know dogs can get diabetes so I guess it would not be far fetched for wild animals to get it also. Peace
Monica
It is not a buggy but a seeder which was used to throw out seeds in the fields. Peace
About the bird feeders (Hummers). We just got one similar to yours and the little buggers just love it. It is Red glass though. Hummers are attracted to red or so I am told. We have Washington green here. Lush plush green in many different degrees of color of green. So we have similar tastes---thank goodness. I am not bothered by pollen or have any allergies, thank goodness!
enjoy!

Great pics of a lovely area, Lady Di.
Friends of mine flew off to the States today...destination Nashville. The daughter is an up-and-coming country music star and she will be doing some work with a producer in Nashville...a producer who has a very good name in the industry. And he's an Aussie, too! :)
Keep up the good work of caring for feeders, bushes, lilies!. Go on enjoying Tennessee Green! I love the two close ups of the flowers, and I'm glad the meds help with the pollen allergies.
The ones they had in red where much larger and the bottoms did not come apart so it could easily be cleaned so I opted for the blue ones. might have made a mistake. I have some china paint that works on glass so I could paint them red. lol. You are lucky about the allergies. Peace
Mr. A
thanks and peace

I hope you are correct about the feeder. I was told by some folks that to take in the old red ones and they will adjust quicker. Thanks, we do love our little view. Nashville and middle TN is the best as we are having CMT week and Bonnaro too. Lots of music. We have lots of talented people to help your friend and if they are using one that already has a name then they are on the right path. Peace

My neighbor has bees and produces honey for sale so now I have 2 cases so maybe I can give up the pills. Thanks and Peace
