It is Lilly's tree

Lilly keeps a watch on the tree because she feels it belongs to her. I decked the tree in blue this year to HONOR our Policemen. It has not been a good year for Policemen and I felt I needed to do a little something to show that those of us on The Hill care about the men in blue.

A close up of the little darling fur baby. Those balls on top of the Santa hats on the tree skirt have had a hard life as she continues to try an remove them. Each morning I have to put at least one ornament or blueberry candy cane back on the tree. The ornaments are not hurt but the wrapper on the candy canes shows lots of little teeth marks. As of yet the wrapper are intact with only those little teeth marks showing her efforts of play.
The Kitty Justice is I wonder what she is gonna do when packages and bags appear under the tree.
Also, the people who have acted so hateful and spoke of the police so badly, I just wonder when they need help, Who are they gonna call? The Kitty Justice is  I have never ever seen so much disrespect.

Lovely tree! It's nice of you to have thought of the policemen and their hard work.
Where I live ,Police also gets attacked by complaints against its actions or lack of action.
One cannot understand that police and education can do very little if the country opens its gates to all sorts of people from all over the world , with different mentalities and ways of life. One cannot change these by education or by law enforcement.
Love how you have honored our police. You are right, who are they going to call when they need help. Can't imagine the hate in their heart but it is combated by love like yours.

The guys in blue have had a really rough year and I wanted to do something to tell them how much they are appreciated. Thanks and the same to ya. Peace

Thank you. Our policemen here in the states have had a hard time and the worse are the ones just doing their duty and someone comes along and shoots them. There jobs are dangerous enough without that happen. I not only honor them but support them doing jobs that the rest of us would not or could not do. I do not pretend to know the answer to stop this but it would seem parents are failing in their jobs so I guess the schools need to pick it up to comply and respect our officers. Peace

Thank you and I do wish that folks would start to respect the law officers. They need to ask themselves would they do this job for the pay they receive. Peace
