Last week Art Ventures met at the Pineapple room located at Cheekwood. It was a very hot day and it was nice to sit looking out the full length windows at the manicured lawn but not feel the heat.
After the meal, I went outside and took photos of the flowers that were immediately in front of the restaurant. I will have to go back to check out the gift shop and maybe get a few more neat photos.
Most of the ladies took advantage of taking the Chihuly tour but I was not doing well in the heat so I opted to just head home in the cool of the silver bullet.
The kitty justice is the hot weather has not been my friend lately.

Beautiful flowers. I don't do well in the hot either. Of course it doesn't want to get hot here to test me.

I didn't post the times because the times vary so with different size arenas..But I think Shannon beat Kylee by 2-100th of a second. Of course Kylee is in a different age group but i don't know if she even got first in her division. MB

Not to worry are just normal, the heat is no friend to middle aged women:) Glad you got those close up pictures and shared them with us.

Thanks. Also, I appreciate you answering my questions. Wow, that was very little difference in the times. Peace

Well thanks for verifing that it is not just me. We are suppose to get a little relief with only highs in the eighties and lows in the sixties at night. Our lows of late have been in the eighties and that is hot for night time. Glad you enjoyed the photos. Peace
