Looking up the lake while I was standing on the dam. We were told it would be another couple of years before the repair is complete on the dam. 
When we got there, no water was being released but the warning horn when off and then they started releasing the water. Note how they have cut that one hill down to the road. 
Looking down on the Caney Fork River and the water being released. The lake is low about sixteen feet due to the repair being made on the dam. I think it is odd that the leak was on the far side of the dam but I have an artistic brain. The kitty justice is boats can still play on the lake, trout fishermen and canoeist can play on the Caney Fork and energy can be made.
