Darrell's quick wit came up with this saying one race day and now it is a standard statement for the races to be started with if Darrell is one of the analyst.
When Puppy was 5 and I was driving the 86 Honda Prelude, I went to have service done in the old building of the dealership and there in the middle of the floor was the Western Auto race car.
I took Puppy back the next day for a "Darrell Waltrip Day". He got to sit in the race car and have his picture taken and the gentlemen who worked there were so nice to a little boy. One took his name and address and gave it to Darrell Waltrip and he sent Puppy an autograph photo and a letter. At that time you could not buy replicas or shirts at the dealership but off the square in Franklin was a Nascar shop which we visited after Puppy got to sit in the car and we bought Darrell Waltrip cars and other things to finish off our Darrell Waltrip Day.
Darrell Waltrip does not only do small things such as sign photos for small kids but he does lots of things for charity and his community.
The kitty justice if you wish you can go to his home for a weekly Bible study and you do not even need an invitation.
Tennessee is full of really "GOOD GUYS" however, the press only showcases the bad ones. The kitty justice is this is the Media at its worse.
