Darrell's quick wit came up with this saying one race day and now it is a standard statement for the races to be started with if Darrell is one of the analyst.
When Puppy was 5 and I was driving the 86 Honda Prelude, I went to have service done in the old building of the dealership and there in the middle of the floor was the Western Auto race car.
I took Puppy back the next day for a "Darrell Waltrip Day". He got to sit in the race car and have his picture taken and the gentlemen who worked there were so nice to a little boy. One took his name and address and gave it to Darrell Waltrip and he sent Puppy an autograph photo and a letter. At that time you could not buy replicas or shirts at the dealership but off the square in Franklin was a Nascar shop which we visited after Puppy got to sit in the car and we bought Darrell Waltrip cars and other things to finish off our Darrell Waltrip Day.
Darrell Waltrip does not only do small things such as sign photos for small kids but he does lots of things for charity and his community.
The kitty justice if you wish you can go to his home for a weekly Bible study and you do not even need an invitation.
Tennessee is full of really "GOOD GUYS" however, the press only showcases the bad ones. The kitty justice is this is the Media at its worse.

What a nice thing for DW to do even back in the day.
I have only seen the 'good guys of tn' and no 'bad guys'.
Boogity boo to you. MB

He does that now. I think most of the driver are genuinely nice guys. Too bad other sports do not take lessons from them. The TN. Titians just signed bad boy Randy Moss. Well I guess we will have to wait and see what he does. Peace

Hi Dianne ~~ I am glad there is a good guy there, and we need more good, than bad stories.
Thanks for your comments and my little pan fire must seem like nothing to you after 3 house fires.
I am so glad you are still with us.
Glad Mimi was there to turn off the eggs. It is so easy to get doing something else. I have vowed I won't leave the kitchen when I have anything on the stove or in it. So I will be careful. Take care
my friend, Love and Peace, Merle.

Any fire is serious. But if you wish to shake me up just let something like that happen with the eggs. Whew I was lucky that she was still in the kitchen. I think you have a good rule going on. I think with Nascar and Country Music we have lots of good guys here. Hope you got to see our city on the CMA awards last evening. Peace
