THANKS

THIS IS PRINCE'S FATHER, WHO SERVED DURING THE WWII. HE WAS NOT IN ANY MAJOR BATTLES BUT WAS STATIONED IN INDIA. HIS BROTHER JACK FLEW AIR CARGO PLANES.

MA WAS FORTUNATE THAT NEITHER OF HER BOYS WERE INJURED LIKE SO MANY OTHERS OR WORSE YET, SHE DID NOT HAVE TO BURY A SON KILLED IN THE WAR.

MY HEART GOES OUT TO ALL THE MOTHERS WHO LOST A SON OR DAUGHTER IN A WAR.

THE KITTY JUSTICE WOULD BE TO GIVE THE RULERS OR LEADER OF THE WARRING COUNTRIES A PISTOL AND LET THEM DUEL IT OUT RATHER THAN HAVE OUR PEOPLE KILL ONE ANOTHER.

DAMN, I HOPE GEORGE IS A GOOD SHOT.

Nice tribute to your father in law. Thanks for sharing. My Dad and uncles served during WWII and they all came home. One uncle was badly wounded, but Grandma never lost a son and that was a blessing.

Hi Lady Di ~~ I am so glad your mother in law did not lose her sons.
As so many did during those awful wars. And they still are this day.
May God keep them safe and end these wars. Thanks for your comments about
the bigger print. I don't have much control over it, but I try. I hope you enjoyed your meeting with the Art ladies and remembered a few jokes.
I hope you get some rain soon. Take care, Love, Merle.
I am with you....and I bet George is a good shot, after all he has hit the mark most every time:)
My father served in World War II in Europe. Unlike many of his buddies, he came home, I remember him saying as his ship passed the Statue of Liberty that he would never see it again. It was a desire of mine to see the statue and finally got my wish in 2002 but it was impossible to imagine passing it for the purpose of going to war rather than for pleasure.

It was Grandma not MIL. The picture was of my FIL. It rained yesterday and last night and the air turned cool 38 degrees this moring. It was 75 degrees yesterday at noon so quite a change. Caused some damage in a few of our counties.

Glad you agree with me about how to conduct a war. Too many young men and women loose their lives to someone in different circumstances they may have been friends.
Bad thing the terroist are cowards and do not have any honor therefore they HIDE and do not care who they kill.
I can only imagine what those young men thought in WWII when they headed out. Probably most of them thought they may not return.

I made a mistake in saying Uncle Jack did air cargo, he flew transport planes.

Nice picture of Lewis. It's amazing how much Prince looks like him.
