When I saw this picture in our local free paper (The City Paper-Nashville's Daily Newspaper) I had to share it with the blogging world. This is the BEST picture I have seen of our artwork on the Cumberland River. It appeared in the April 24Th issue of The City Paper.
Beside the picture it read "Reader Barry Brechak captured this shot of Ghost Ballet that displays the Nashville skyline in an almost heart shaped frame." I added the stain glass frame to compliment his work.
The Kitty Justice is that I hope you enjoy Mr Brachak's view as much as I did.

Lady Di ~ As always thanks for the sweet comments on my blog. Ya make me blush! It has been a while since I was in Nashville, but I don't remember the skyline being quite that exciting... maybe I need to get back there sometime? Funny but I almost made plans to vacation in Knoxville area either this summer or fall and staying in the Great Smokey Mountains, but we planned on seeing Nashville on our way, but now we may just do the Big Island of Hawaii. We have not yet decided. ~ jb///
That is awesome. Thanks for sharing it. MB

If you come to Nashville, Please stop by the Hill and enjoy a drink with us or even a meal if you let me know when you will be coming. Nashville still has the Southern Charm but it is growing and growing. Downtown has become a poplar place to live with all the new high rise condos being built. If you plan on The Smokey Mt. be sure to go in the fall and not when University of Tn is playing a home game. Since I live here I would go to the Big Island. Peace

That picture was awesome and I only wish I had taken it but now that I see the angle I just might venture downtown and make my own. Peace

Thanks for visiting. As I said, this was the first picture that I truly liked of the artwork. It was commissioned by an Artist out of state, which I find offensive since Nashville and Tn have abundant talented people living here. Truth I never liked it until I saw this picture. Peace

Thanks, I love irises as they remind me of Mother. She had the two pretty rows of different varieties. Unfortunately, I did not dig up any of those. These are from Mimi and Grand Dot earlier years on the hill. I have just transplanted them.
