Prince took this photo of the maple tree behind the dutch barn. I had taken a photo of the same tree a couple of days before and it still had some green at the bottom.
The oaks on the ground are awaiting the attention of the chainsaw and log splitter.
I looked out this morning and a carpet of brown oak leaves cover the front yard so the Mamas and Papas song "All the leaves are brown " started playing in me head.
The kitty justice is my only duty concerning those logs will be to operate the lever on the log splitter. BUT THE BEST DUTY IS TO SIT BY A WARM FIRE WATCHING THE FLAMES MAKE DIFFERENT DANCER AS THEY FLICKER.

thingo. You guessed right about the term
"to shout" means to pay for the meal or drink - whatever. I used to baby-sit Vicki's two boys, now one has 4 kids and the other one child. Hard to believe. We can't see the time flying, but it sure does. Take care, my friend, Love, Merle.
Thanks from Prince and I. Peace

Yes the trees were late turning and now most of the leaves have fallen but while the colors were in the trees it was glorious. Peace

Welcome to Kitty Justice. We are as about as west as you can be in Davidson County. The next exit west, you are in Cheatham county. Crossville is beautiful country. Next time we go by you spot on Center Hill lake we will wave from our pontoon. That will be next year of course. Peace
Merle
Reading your blog, I am beginning to understand the lingo. The Today show has one of its reporter in Syndney this morning or rather your night. Peace
