The Grand stand became my target.
This was not a planned detour just one of those spur of the moment photo opt. The quite solitude of the fields without horses and the bustle of people and lots of ladies in hats during the Iroquois was just too beautiful not to share.
I only saw two people walking and one runner while standing there.
The kitty justice is this gem awaits the horses to jump those hedges.

Boy I bet on race day the place is jumping (pun intended). I have only seen a steeplechase on TV but it would be very exciting in person. Lovely countryside. MB
you have done well. I hope your car is fixed very soon. Great of that man to lend you his truck.

What gorgeous photos. This place is awesome. Glad you were able to share it with us. I see your trees are still dressed in their autumn gowns. Unfortunately, our trees are pretty much bare.
Wishing you a wonderful day.
Blessings,
Mary

Living within a few miles you would think I would have gone once, but the crowds are outrageous. Peace

I was driving the silver bullet home after the repairs when it hit me to go take photos of the Steeple chase grounds. Hope you and Peter have LOADS OF FUN. Peace
Mary
Some of the smaller trees have a few leaves left but the larger ones are bare and we have lots more sky now. Peace
