AMAZON DELIVERY

FRIST OF ALL NO PHOTO CAN DESCRIBE HOW MY TIME WAS WASTED BY AMAZON. 

WE ARE PRIME MEMBERS AND THE TWO RESIDENCE SIDE BY SIDE HAVE HAD PEOPLE TO ORDER MANY TIMES FROM AMAZON AND WE WERE ALL SATISFIED UNTIL: I REPEATED TO ORDER AN ITEM THAT HAD BEEN ORDERED TWICE BEFORE. 

THE DAY IT WAS TO ARRIVE WAS SUNDAY SO I FIGURED IT WOULD NOT SHOW UNTIL MONDAY THE 4TH. 

ON THE 4TH AT 2 :51PM I GET AN E MAIL THAT READS "WE COULDN'T ENTER YOUR BUILDING TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE BUT WE WILL TRY AGAIN. PLEASE ADD INSTRUCTIONS TO HELP US ENTER"

6:05 I START A CHAT WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. 3:55 PM PST, ARCHANA PASSED ME OFF TO SREEJA WITH THE STATEMENT "I AM TRANSFERRING YOU TO AMAZON LOGISTIC DEPARTMENT TO TAKE A LOOK AT THIS". 4:01 PM PST SREEJA STATED "THAT MIGHT BE CONFUSION FROM THE DRIVER'S END. PLEASE DON'T WORRY. YOUR PACKAGE SHOULD BE RE-ATTEMPTED FOR DELIVERY TODAY.

6:31PM E MAIL ARRIVED STATED "I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE DELAY WITH YOUR DELIVERY. THANK YOU FOR PROVIDING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR THE DRIVER TO RE-ATTEMPT DELIVERY OF YOUR PACKAGE. IF YOUR PACKAGE IS NOT DELIVERED BY THE END OF THE DAY TODAY, IT WILL BE REATTEMPTE ON 3-5-19 AS REQUESTED"

AGAIN NO PACKAGE CAME SO AT 8;48PM I STARTED A CHAT AGAIN WITH CS. IT WAS 6:32PM PST ON THEIR END. AGAIN I GOT SOMEONE NAME  VHIN WHO TRANSFERRED ME TO TADISHETTI BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF HER EXPERTISE. AGAIN THIS PERSON ASKED ME IF THERE IS AN ACCESS CODE FOR THE BUILDING. AGAIN I SAID NO AND  I GAVE HER TURN BY TURN DIRECTIONS TO OUR HOUSE. AGAIN IT WAS INDICATED " THAT THEY HAD UPDATED THE NOTE TO THE DELIVERY ASSOCIATE AND THE PACKAGE WOULD BE DELIVERED TO ME. 

AT 9:58 ON 3-5-10 I GOT AN E MAIL FROM AMAZON THAT THEY WERE UNABLE TO DELIVER THE PACKAGE AI IT HAS BEEN MARKED LOST. 

3-6-19 AT 2:05 ANOTHER EMAIL ARRIVED STATING "YOUR AMAZON PACKAGE WILL BE DELIVERED TODAY. I GET A CALL FROM SOMEONE AT AMAZON WHO ASKED IF OUR STREET WAS FLOODED AND I ADVISED IT WAS NOT BUT ONE WAY TO OUR HOME WAS CLOSED DUE TO FLOOD REPAIRS."

MY DEAR HUSBAND CALLED THE 1-800 AND SPOKE WITH LEA AND TOLD HER HE COULD TALK WITH THE CARRIER AND GUIDE HIM STEP BY STEP AND GAVE HER HIS NUMBER. THERE ARE THREE OTHER WAYS TO GET TO OUR STREET WITHOUT USING THE CLOSED STREET WHICH HAS DETOUR SIGNS. 

AT 5:13 GOT AN E MAIL FROM LEA WITH A STATEMENT "TO ENSURE DELIVERY YOU MAY RECIEVE A CALL FROM THE DRIVER PRIOR TO DELIVERY. SHE ALSO INDICATED SHE HAD SENT DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED BY HIM DIRECTLY TO THE DELIVERY ASSOCIATE. NO CALL NO DELIVERY. 

ON 3-7-19 AT 6:46 AM ANOTHER EMAIL CAME WITH THE STATEMENT "THE PACKAGE IS BEING RETURNED TO US BY THE CARRIER. WE'VE ISSUED YOUR REFUND". 

3-7-19 AT 7:05PM ANOTHER EMAIL 'SORRY WE MISSED YOU. WE TRIED TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE TODAY BUT DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE IT UNATTENDED". THIS WAS AN ODD STATED FOR A RETURNED PACKAGE BECUASE THEY HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM BEFORE LEAVING PACKAGES ON THE FRONT PORCHES UP HERE ON THE HILL. 

I SENT AN EMAIL TO DAVE CLARK SVP WORLDWIDE OPERATIONS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE . NO REPLY

THERE ARE TWO KITTY JUSTICE 1. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM AMAZON IF A ROAD IS CLOSED EVEN THOUGH YOU CAN GET TO IT THREE OTHER WAYS. 2. WHEN LIFE HAS OVERWHELMED YOU AND A TRUSTED COMPANY WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME MAYBE IT IS TIME TO LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Glad to see your post, even though it's a rant and you seem very frustrated.
All I can say is that both your conclusions are correct. Either option would be the right one.
And..I like your new layout.

Well I think Amazon needs to rethink the carriers process as most do not know the lay of the land. That was my first issue with them but it was a real lack of Customer Service on their part. Peace

Glad to be back as it has been a bad year so far. The item from Amazon can be bought in stores but it was the convenience of home delivery with our overwhelming year that made it so nice until they wasted my time which is very valuable to me. Poor Customer service. I figure I may order again WHEN the road is repaired but until then it is off to the store I go hi ho hi ho. Peace

Just reading about what you went through has me frustrated and angry.

I've been through similar during the past couple of weeks - three times - time wasted! Time, energy and emotional energy wasted...hours wasted talking to people in the bloody Philippines whose accents are nigh impossible to decipher.... trying to solve a problem that shouldn't exist!!!! Grrrrrrrr!!!!!
